Winson is a virtuoso of hair design with over 13 years experience as a stylist and in teaching. Graduating with a Diploma in Hair Dressing in 2004, Winson has continuously upgraded his experience with certificates from renowned hair institutes like Wella and Sckwarzkopf in hair colouring and perming. In addition, Winson obtained the Master Colour Education from LOREAL Professional and has even attended the Creative Salon course at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon in London.
At a young age, Winson has garnered vast experience in styling models for hair shows, magazine covers, fashion shows, musicals, and other events. Notable events he has worked on the hair do are the Miss Malaysia 2010, KL Fashion week, Stylo Fashion show and Bebe Fashion show.
Winson has styled famous artistes such as Amber Chia, Anita Sarawak, Choo Mi Mi, Daphne Iking, Wu Qi Xian, Charmaine Poo, Chan Hew Dong, Angel Wong Chui Ling, Chris Tong Bing Yu, Steve Yap, Jacky Kam Kah Kee, and more.
Winson bagged 3 awards as the 1st Runner up of All Senior Category, 1st Runner up of Senior Ladies Combination Category and 2nd Runner up of Senior Ladies Individual Category in the 2010 Malaysia Hair Awards. He also was the 2nd Runner up in the Creative Colour & Cut Award in the Asia Hairdesigner Association -Awards (5th Asia Hairdresser Festival) in 2010. The latest award from Shanghai , he was only one represent Malaysia to Shanghai competition for 2015 Asia Hairdesigner Association (10th Asia Hairdresser Festival) won
Asia Grand Champion ' Top Artistic Award '.
